About the role
As an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care under the guidance of a registered nurse. You will perform advanced clinical tasks and help create a safe, welcoming environment where patients and families feel valued and respected.
Responsibilities
- Observe patients, document changes, and communicate them with the nursing team
- Help patients with daily needs (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely
- Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and wound care
- Assist with supporting tasks like collecting lab samples and clerical duties to keep care running smoothly
- Anticipate patient needs, respond quickly, and ensure every experience feels seamless and compassionate
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- CNA Program preferred
- 3 years of patient care experience in a healthcare facility preferred
