Advanced Patient Care Tech
About the Role
As an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be an important part of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will perform advanced clinical tasks and help create a safe, welcoming environment where patients and families feel valued and respected.
Responsibilities
- Observe patients, document changes, and communicate them with the nursing team
- Help patients with daily needs (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely
- Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and care for wounds
- Assist with supporting tasks like collecting lab samples and assisting with clerical duties to keep care running smoothly
- Look ahead to what patients might need, respond quickly, and help ensure every experience feels seamless and compassionate
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, or work experience in lieu of credential
