About the role
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Student Health and Counseling Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician to provide health services to UAF students. The Center provides medical, counseling, and health education services to the UAF student body. The position is part-time, benefits-eligible, and available during the academic year (nine months, from mid-August to mid-May) and part-time during half of the summer term.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, ambulatory healthcare and health education to university students as part of the medical staff.
- Maintain a strong interest in addressing both physical and mental health concerns.
- Support students in managing their healthcare needs.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner: Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program at the master's level or higher, Alaska license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner, Alaska prescriptive authority, including a DEA number or eligibility for a DEA number.
- Physician: Degree from an accredited Medical School program, Alaska license to practice as a Physician, Alaska prescriptive authority, including a DEA number or eligibility for a DEA number.

Schedule
