Advanced Math Teacher

About the Role

Portsmouth Christian Academy (PCA) in Dover, NH is seeking a mission‑driven Advanced Math Teacher to join its expanding STEM team. The position can be a single‑course assignment or a full‑time load, teaching bright, coachable students—many scoring in the top 10 % nationally—on a 70‑acre riverside campus with real‑world, hands‑on learning opportunities. Teachers at PCA are trusted, developed, and supported through a Professional Progression Program, and the role integrates discipleship, academics, and spiritual growth.

Responsibilities

• Teach core math courses: Algebra I (CP/Honors), Algebra II (CP/Honors), Geometry (CP/Honors), and Pre‑Calculus (CP/Honors).
• Teach elective math courses: Calculus (AP) and Statistics.
• Teach technology/engineering electives: Robotics and Introduction to Engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of five years of experience in math or sciences, including classroom leadership.
• Experience teaching at the AP level is a plus.
