About the role

The Charter in Beaver Creek is looking for an Advanced Level Maintenance Engineer who knows how to keep a property running smoothly and isn’t afraid to tackle a tough problem. From building systems and guest accommodations to pools, life-safety equipment, and other critical property assets, this role puts your technical skills to work every day in one of Colorado’s premier mountain communities. Responsibilities

• Inspect, monitor, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, life-safety, and utility systems throughout the property.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs in guest accommodations, common areas, pools, fire systems, refrigeration equipment, audiovisual systems, and food service areas.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems, identify root causes, and determine the appropriate repair or replacement solution.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests, owners, and team members while supporting property improvement and asset preservation projects.
• Keep work areas organized, maintain accurate records in maintenance tracking systems, and communicate project and repair updates with department leaders, vendors, and the engineering team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience maintaining commercial, hospitality, resort, or multifamily residential properties, or equivalent hands-on experience in building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems, with the ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and determine effective solutions.
• Sound judgment and a proactive approach to prioritizing repairs, identifying maintenance needs, and improving building performance.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate clearly with team members, contractors, and other departments, and maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
