Advanced Laminate Composite Technician

About the role

This is a first shift position working a 4/10 schedule Monday - Thursday. Our Advanced Composite Manufacturing facility is searching for a talented composite technician to support the manufacturing of composite antennas to go on some of the most advanced platforms.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of working characteristics of bonding techniques, using precision instruments, hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.
• Performs composite layup and mechanical assembly operations to military specification by utilizing process sheets, drawings and written or verbal instructions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma OR GED
• At least 2 years work experience in composite layup

Preferred Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience with composite layup, vacuum bagging, and lamination techniques
• Highly knowledgeable in proper handling and storage of adhesives, prepregs, and composite materials
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain DOD secret Clearance
• Degree in Composite Technology a plus

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $57319 - $91710
