Job Responsibilities
- Reads and understands the daily production plan
- Tracks production on communication board
- Safely operates various machinery such as mills, extruders, ovens, etc.
- Packs finished goods into appropriate packaging/boxes and places correct labels on packaging
- Plants finished goods on pallet
- Troubleshoots simple issues in the workflow and corrects them
- Ensures accuracy of formulations and weighings
- Ensures internal and external specifications are met
- Performs frequent quality checks of material (visual checks, AIMS, QMS, etc.)
- Uses various measuring equipment
- Reports any issues or concerns to management
- Maintains clean and orderly work area
Job Qualifications And Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Possesses basic math and writing skills
- Possesses basic computer inputting skills for Quality purposes
- Ability to work in production area with long periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping and reaching
- Ability to work on or near large industrial equipment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
