About the role
We are seeking a cardiology physician associate for locum tenens coverage at a large hospital. Responsibilities include inpatient rounding and consults, with LVAD call coverage on weeknights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 7-8 patients per day
- Provide consults
- Support a team of 3 NPs and 4 physicians
- Handle LVAD call coverage on weeknights and weekends
- Ensure comprehensive inpatient care and patient management
Requirements
- Prescriptive authority
- Inpatient experience
- Heart failure and LVAD experience
- Ability to handle LVAD cases
Open to physician assistants.
Skills
- Strong clinical knowledge in cardiology, especially heart failure management
- Ability to work on-site
