Advanced Emergency Medical Technician - AEMT
About the role
Ambulnz by DocGo is seeking experienced EMTs and EMT-Basic to join our dynamic team in Goodlettsville, TN. Pay rates range from $21.00 to $22.50 per hour for EMTs and $24.00 to $25.50 per hour for AEMTs. Full-time and part-time positions are available with flexible schedules.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with fellow EMS staff and management to ensure top-tier patient care.
- Be flexible with your work schedule, which operates on a 24-hour clock.
- Stay updated with current standards of care, including equipment functions and all certifications, licenses, and registrations.
- Operate with courtesy, helpfulness, and professionalism when interacting with patients, colleagues, supervisors, and the public.
- Treat medical conditions appropriately using the right techniques, equipment, and knowledge of state and county protocols.
- Provide top-tier medical transport to medical facilities, assuming responsibilities for patient care and following established policies and procedures.
- Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your workspace.
- Gather patient billing information and obtain appropriate signatures.
- Prepare and submit pre-hospital patient care reports.
- Respond promptly to assignments as directed by the Dispatch Center.
- Be able to lift, push, and pull up to 125 lbs.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- TN EMT Certification (EMT-Basic or Advanced-EMT)
- Driver’s License and acceptable driving record (at least 2 years)
- CPR for Health Care Provider
- Pass a Physical Aptitude Test
