About the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to provide residents with routine daily nursing care delivered with a compassionate attitude and in accordance with our established nursing care procedures and philosophies, as directed by supervisors. As an ACMA, you will ensure all residents receive their medication in a timely and orderly manner, maintain proper documentation, and handle pharmacy orders. We are a team-driven facility, so you will be expected to assist wherever needed, and your team will do the same for you.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration
• Order medications from the pharmacy
• Provide routine daily nursing care to residents
• Assist team members as needed in a collaborative environment

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, walk, stand, lift, carry, push, and handle equipment, supplies, or patients exceeding 50 pounds
• Must function independently and have flexibility, including rotating weekends
• Must demonstrate personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, employees, and support agencies

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma ACMA certification
• Current BLS CPR certification (must be obtained if not already held)
