Advanced Care Technician-TC BU - M/S 4P-Sharp Tri City Medical Center-Day Shift-Full-Time

Job Description

In alignment with the STC SEIU CBA, this position will be posted for 7 days internally from 08/27/26 to 09/03/26 and available only to existing members of the ratified STC SEIU Bargaining Unit.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, providing basic patient care and comfort measures for assigned patients.
• Provide care for infant (0-1 year of age), emergency pediatric (1-13 years of age), and adult (14 years of age and older) populations.

Requirements

• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare)
• Current California Certified Nurse Assistant Certification, or Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse, or Corpsman (military), or Nursing student that has completed the fundamentals of nursing including initial assessment and taking vitals.
• NVCI within 90 days of hire or transfer, required (ED, BHU IP and OP only).
• Maintain a minimum of 10 related to work CE from TCMC or other source annually in lieu of maintaining certification.

Qualifications

• One or more of the following is required upon hire: Current California Certified Nurse Assistant Certification, or Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse, or Corpsman (military), or Nursing student that has completed the fundamentals of nursing including initial assessment and taking vitals.
