About the role

Applied Medical is a new generation medical device company with a proven business model and commitment to innovation. We have recently launched a new line of products in a major category for both minimally invasive and open abdominal surgery. This is a tremendous opportunity for individuals with foundational outside sales experience, preferably in B2B or medical/hospital settings, looking to develop their career in the medical device space.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver minimally invasive surgical solutions to hospitals, focusing on GelSeal® technologies for breast surgery.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive long-term growth of Gel and Alexis technologies.
  • Promote Gel and Alexis technologies at high-volume surgical centers.
  • Support training and implementation of Applied Medical technologies within assigned breast surgery fellowship programs.
  • Provide clinical expertise and support for all Applied Medical products used in breast surgery.
  • Engage key opinion leaders and decision-makers at large health systems to advance Applied Medical's minimally invasive breast surgery programs.
  • Build interest and adoption of Gel technologies among leaders in the medical community.
  • Represent the Applied Medical brand in competitive environments.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Accounts and Field Implementation teams to coordinate strategy and maximize breast procedure support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least three years of medical device sales experience with a documented record of sustained success.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams and initiatives.
  • Entrepreneurial, goal-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, depending on territory, and manage related expenses.
  • Ability to meet third-party credentialing requirements for Applied Medical field team members.

Benefits

The base compensation for this role is $80,000-$100,000/year. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The base salary displayed reflects the target for new hire salaries in the Northeast based on the date of this job posting. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range compensation package during your hiring process. Please understand that the compensation range may be modified in the future. Each amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation once such amount is earned and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, benefit, or other form of compensation may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law. The total compensation package for this position may also include bonuses and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
