About the role
Ensure accuracy and completeness of billing. This position interacts with providers, other co-workers, and billing offices. Primary responsibility includes managing the accuracy of network billing to clients, agreements, and providers. Reconcile bills against access databases for accuracy and review billing to ensure bills are accurate prior to being sent to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Minimum of five years of equivalent experience in healthcare, health insurance, or a related field
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with a professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance
- Strong attention to detail to produce clean bills
Preferred Qualifications
- One year or greater experience in billing and coding, preferably in the occupational health field
