Advanced Associate, Professional Services (Arizona, Part-Time)
Our team is in search of part-time Learning Facilitators who have leadership experience supporting MTSS and/or assessment implementation to deliver web-based or on-site product training and professional development. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven facilitation skills for adult learners. The ideal candidate should have a passion for partnering with school leaders to support meaningful improvement to school systems using data-based decision making and intentional teaming structures. This is a needs-based, per-diem position that requires extensive travel during our peak season (August–October).
Qualifications
- Minimum Education:
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, School Psychology, Special Education, or closely related field
- Bachelor’s degree in closely related field with five years of experience with administration and interpretation of preK–12 assessment instruments
- Minimum Experience:
- Experience delivering professional development to educators in a variety of learning formats
- Test administration and scoring experience with preK–12 academic and social-emotional benchmark and progress-monitoring measures
- Direct experience using aimswebPlus, DRA3, WriteToLearn, Review360, BASC-3 BESS, SSIS SEL, and/or Shaywitz DyslexiaScreen is preferred
- Expertise in using educational technologies and in supporting students and teachers in their use
- Proficient with interpreting normative and criterion-referenced student data
Responsibilities
- 60% – Deliver instructionally sound product training to customers using a variety of learning mediums (on-site and web-based)
- 15% – Collaborate with the Pearson internal team to stay up-to-date on product releases and training revisions; attend required monthly meetings
- 15% – Plan and travel independently
- 10% – Work with customers to understand specific training needs and make modifications to meet these needs
Skills
- Keep accurate records of training sessions and submit reports
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Zoom, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with using professional development materials and adapting PD sessions to meet individual customer needs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Understanding and application of adult learning concepts with professional development delivery
- Detail oriented and ability to work well in a changing environment
- Ability to travel extensively during peak seasons (July–October)
Required Technology
As a part-time trainer you will be provided a company-issued laptop to deliver professional development in both webinar and on-site formats. Microsoft 365 will be provided upon employment at Pearson.
Pay
The hourly rate for this role is $XX.XX – $XX.XX. This position is eligible for accrued paid sick time.
