Advanced Apprentice Maintenance & Repair - Mechanical - PDM

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant equipment and systems within generation standards, manufacturer’s guidelines, and complies with Federal and State laws and regulations, and Company rules.
• May provide leadership and work direction to various crews, crafts and contractors when applicable.
• Perform related administrative duties (i.e.: inventory, time keeping, work order system).
• Establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Must obtain and maintain appropriate certifications if applicable.
• Produce accurate documentation of work and inspections performed.

Requirements

• Advanced Apprentice REQUIRED
• Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent PLUS Three years or more of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent education/experience which may include millwright, welder, pipefitter, or machinist (*machinist must have vocational certificate).
• Special Requirements: Must possess PDM (Predictive Maintenance) Specialty or complete this within 3 years of hire. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Pay

The expected hourly compensation range for this advanced apprenticeship is $45.73 – $53.58. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, and experience.

Schedule

This position will report regularly in person to Duluth, MN.
