Responsibilities
- Maintains, repairs, and installs plant electrical equipment and systems within generation standards, manufacturers guidelines, and complies with Federal/State laws and regulations, and Company rules.
- Prepare/Modify technical electrical drawings and materials for most electrical changes.
- Provide leadership and work direction to various crews, contractors, and crafts when applicable.
- Perform related administrative duties (e.g., inventory, time keeping, schedules, work order system).
- Produce accurate documentation of work, rounds, inspections, PM, etc.
- First point of contact for all plant, administration, contractor, and Gen Ops electrical needs.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Post-secondary education such as a two-year Technical Degree or Certificate of Electrical Maintenance, or other education/experience providing a comprehensive knowledge of the fundamentals.
- Completion of a three-year accredited electrical apprenticeship.
- Effective interpersonal and communications skills required to establish and maintain working relationships.
- Must obtain and maintain ASNT level 1 thermography certification.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must be available for response to after-hour call outs.
- Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position.
- This position will report regularly in person to Grand Rapids, MN.
- This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.
Pay
The expected hourly compensation range for this position is $51.71–$57.46. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on knowledge, skills, training, and experience.
