About the Role

This contingent resource assignment involves consulting on or participating in moderately complex initiatives within Risk Analytics and contributing to large-scale planning related to risk and regulatory reporting deliverables. The role supports Basel III Capital and Risk initiatives, focusing on data management, data sourcing, data mapping, testing, reconciliation, and data quality analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support Basel III Capital and Risk initiatives through data analysis and validation activities
• Perform data sourcing, mapping, lineage analysis, and reconciliation
• Conduct data quality assessments and identify data accuracy issues
• Utilize Python to automate data analysis, testing, and validation processes
• Write and execute SQL queries to analyze, reconcile, and validate data
• Leverage Advanced Excel for large dataset analysis, reporting, and data validation
• Support integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production validation activities
• Partner with business, technology, risk, and finance teams to resolve data issues
• Document business requirements, mappings, test results, and data controls
• Aid in regulatory reporting and capital reporting data initiatives

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, data management, data mapping, testing, or business analysis within Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, or Financial Services
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, and Advanced Excel for data analysis and validation
• Experience supporting regulatory, risk, capital, or enterprise data initiatives
• Experience supporting Basel III, Regulatory Capital, or Risk Reporting programs
• Knowledge of data lineage, source-to-target mapping, and data governance
• Experience performing integration testing, UAT, reconciliation testing, and data quality analysis

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field (economics, finance, statistics, etc.)
• Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CRIS preferred
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

$51 - $53 per hour
