About the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of tasks and projects that address the needs of the Marketing department and facilitate a learning opportunity for the intern. The intern will be part of the Advanced Analytics team and will assist in and lead efforts to develop analytical insights that drive value back to the business, including model building and incorporating statistical methods.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage data from multiple systems such as Snowflake and SQL Server to analyze customer behavior.
  • Utilize tools such as Tableau and Excel to visualize data insights.
  • Develop reporting and recommendations that drive business value and guide strategic business decisions.
  • Support other projects outside of those assigned by participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Currently enrolled in a four-year university program, sophomore level or above (pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field).
  • Past internship experience is a plus but not necessary.

Skills

  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL; understanding of basic analytical techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and verbal communication skills.
  • Organization skills and ability to work as a team player.

Physical Demands

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
