About the role

The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with Attending Physicians to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. They will work closely with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, nurses, and technicians to provide comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in DSP outpatient and inpatient practices.
  • Evaluate and manage patients to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Document patient interactions and progress in electronic health records.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to address patient and staff needs promptly.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience in critical care or telemetry inpatient care.
  • Preferred: Cardiology experience, either as an Advanced Practice Provider or in Nursing.
  • Orientation will be customized based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree or greater from an ANA accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current New Jersey license as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse Certification.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, CDS, and DEA licenses.
  • Approval of credentials and clinical privileges per DSP procedure.

Skills

  • Proficiency with electronic health records and database management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficient; well-organized, detail-oriented, and multitasking.
  • Maintains a flexible schedule to ensure patient and staff needs are addressed.
  • Maintains required continuing education credits and completes required nurse practitioner recertification.

Pay

The minimum starting salary for this position is $115k-$145K. The base rate is determined by several factors including years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring 80 hours per pay period.
