Adult Therapist (LMSW, LCSW, MHC-LP or LMHC)

About the role

Create Outcomes is seeking an Adult Therapist to provide therapy services in New York, NY or Huntington, NY. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, and be licensed to practice in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy sessions to clients in accordance with professional standards and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with other therapists and staff members to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Conduct intake assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor client progress.
• Engage in continuing education to stay updated on best practices and emerging research in mental health.
• Participate in regular supervision and consultation with senior therapists.
• Adhere to confidentiality policies and maintain client records securely.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Licensed to practice in New York State.
• Experience working with adults in a therapeutic setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in using evidence-based interventions and techniques.
