About the role

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at Cleveland Clinic is seeking an Orthopaedic Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in Adult Reconstruction to join one of the most active and academically productive joint arthroplasty programs in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Primary and revision total hip and knee arthroplasty
  • Joint preservation surgery: hip arthroscopy, periacetabular osteotomy (PAO), hip allograft, and limb realignment osteotomies
  • Arthroplasty in the setting of osteonecrosis of the hip and knee
  • Participation in large-scale prospective clinical trials and multi-center outcomes registries
  • Fellowship-level education of orthopaedic residents and adult reconstruction fellows

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS or equivalent)
  • Completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction
  • Active Ohio medical licensure or eligibility for licensure at time of appointment
  • Demonstrated surgical proficiency in primary and revision total joint arthroplasty
  • Record of or clear interest in peer-reviewed scholarship, clinical research, or educational leadership

  • Commitment to patient-centered care and team-based practice

Pay

Minimum salary: $535,750
Maximum salary: $715,750
