We are a premier behavioral health organization built around a simple idea: excellent psychiatric care requires more than placing a physician in front of an overloaded schedule and hoping for the best. Our programs serve adults across inpatient, outpatient, and integrated behavioral health settings.

About the role

Psychiatrists may build a practice focused primarily on outpatient care, inpatient treatment, or a combination of both. Depending on the clinical model, there may also be opportunities for a hybrid schedule. This is an environment designed for psychiatrists who want to practice thoughtful, evidence-based medicine without spending every day fighting unnecessary operational battles.

You will work alongside experienced therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, nursing professionals, and administrative support teams. You became a psychiatrist to evaluate complex conditions, develop meaningful treatment plans, and improve lives—not to discover how many appointments can be squeezed between breakfast and lunch.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for adult patients
  • Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric treatment within an outpatient, inpatient, or blended practice model
  • Collaborate with therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, nursing professionals, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team
  • Evaluate patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and coordinate appropriate levels of behavioral health care
  • Participate in clinical quality initiatives, program development, education, or leadership activities based on your interests and experience
  • Use onsite and telepsychiatry services where clinically appropriate to improve access, continuity, and flexibility

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree with an active or eligible unrestricted medical license
  • Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

Qualifications

Preferred: Experience treating adult patients in an outpatient, inpatient, hospital-based, community behavioral health, integrated care, or telepsychiatry setting.

Benefits

  • Compensation ranging from $325,000 to $425,000, with additional incentive opportunities based on experience, schedule, responsibilities, and practice model
  • Choose the clinical setting that fits you best, with opportunities involving outpatient psychiatry, inpatient psychiatry, or a combination of both
  • Potential hybrid flexibility for clinical responsibilities that can be completed effectively through telepsychiatry
  • A practice model that respects clinical judgment, allowing you to make treatment decisions based on patient needs rather than a one-size-fits-all system
  • Protected administrative time to complete documentation, review clinical information, collaborate with colleagues, and manage patient care without routinely sacrificing your evenings
  • Strong multidisciplinary support, including behavioral health clinicians, nursing professionals, advanced practice providers, social workers, and operational staff
  • Reasonable scheduling built around quality care, not an endless race to see how many patients can be moved through the calendar
  • The ability to shape your practice, including patient population, clinical setting, areas of interest, and potential leadership responsibilities
  • Dedicated administrative support to reduce the amount of time physicians spend managing scheduling, referrals, authorizations, and routine operational issues
  • Collaborative treatment planning that gives psychiatrists access to the broader clinical team rather than leaving them responsible for solving every patient need alone
  • Leadership opportunities available for psychiatrists interested in program development, clinical supervision, quality initiatives, education, or medical direction
  • A stable behavioral health platform with the resources to support growth, expand access to care, and develop new programs thoughtfully
  • A culture that values psychiatric expertise, where physicians are included in decisions that affect clinical care, patient access, and program development
  • A comprehensive benefits package designed to support long-term financial security, health, professional development, and time away from work
