Adult Psychiatrist - Casual
Job Summary
Provides psychiatric services to adults to help improve their mental health by evaluating medical and psychosocial conditions, developing, and implementing treatment plans.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine required
- Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Psychiatry or foreign equivalency training required
- Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required upon hire
- ACLS/BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required upon hire
- Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required board certified in Psychiatry within two years of hire
- Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate upon hire required
- Prescription Monitoring Program upon hire required
- National Provider Identifier upon hire required
Physical Demands
Medium Work: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently
Work Environment
Works on an inpatient psychiatry unit alongside a team of mental health providers, including other psychiatry providers, psychologists, and mental health specialty-trained nurses. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to treat patients with mental health diagnoses. Casual adult psychiatry physician position with a flexible schedule covering one location at a time, shifts from 8am-5pm with flexibility, and optional weekend and evening call rotations.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $340,025 to $351,000 per year
