Adult Psychiatrist

About the role

Expanding private, non-profit community mental health center seeks an Adult Psychiatrist to join a staff of ten psychiatrists, for outpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Conducting outpatient psychiatric evaluations
• Maintaining treatment plans
• Prescribing medications
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective care delivery in alignment with best practices

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited residency program in general adult psychiatry
• Licence to practice medicine in the State of New Hampshire
• A valid DEA license
• Board certification in general adult psychiatry

Qualifications

• If the applicant has completed their residency within the past 5 years, they can be considered eligible for employment but must complete board certification within 5 years from the date of completion of their training

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
