Adult Outpatient Therapist

About the role

The Role As a Therapist with our Adult Services team, you will provide counseling to the Adult population. You will also be responsible for treatment planning and review for/with clients. In this role, you may work in individual settings or with groups, always striving to make an important difference in our community.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake assessments, appropriate triage and referrals
• Provide treatment planning and review for/with clients
• Provide full regimen of therapeutic modalities, including psychotherapy, case management and crisis stabilization for established caseload
• Maintain and provide consistent schedule, per management discretion, that enhances the department’s ability to respond to client’s needs
• Check client insurance information
• Attends meetings, trainings and events as assigned
• Performs tasks, projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Licensed in New Hampshire to provide outpatient psychotherapeutic services
• Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing
• Must be able to exercise independent judgement and use discretion in the performance of these duties while operating within the limits of standard practice
• Must possess computer skills necessary to perform duties of this position
• Valid driver's license, proof of adequate automobile liability insurance and reliable transportation is required
