The Adult Mental Health Case Manager works in the local community, supporting adults with mental health challenges to live independently.
Position Overview
The Adult Mental Health Case Manager identifies, assesses, and evaluates services for individuals, ensuring their health and safety to promote independent living. They focus on recovery strategies, community support, and advocating for client rights while encouraging self-advocacy. An MHRT-C or MHRT-C Provisional certification is necessary for this position.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A related associate's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience is desired.
- A valid state-issued driver's license and proof of current insurance are required.
- Must possess an MHRT-C or MHRT-C Provisional certification and maintain it with 18 approved CEUs every two years.
