About the role
Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Adult Therapist to join our Adult Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Lansdale, PA. This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by facilitating group therapy, providing individual support, and helping adults develop the skills needed to achieve lasting recovery and emotional wellness.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate evidence-based group therapy sessions within the Adult Mental Health IOP
- Provide individual therapy sessions as clinically appropriate
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Support adults experiencing mental health and co-occurring disorders
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination
- Support program development and perform additional clinical responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field
- Completion of a clinical internship or practicum
Qualifications
- Experience facilitating group therapy in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or other outpatient behavioral health setting (preferred)
- Experience working with adults experiencing mental health and co-occurring disorders (preferred)
Skills
- Knowledge of adult mental health disorders and co-occurring conditions
- Strong group facilitation and therapeutic engagement skills
- Effective assessment, treatment planning, and documentation abilities
- Ability to establish rapport and maintain professional boundaries
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Cultural competence and a commitment to person-centered care
- Dedication to ethical practice and evidence-based treatment
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday–Thursday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Friday: Flexible daytime schedule
Pay
Salary: $53,000–$55,000 annually, commensurate with experience
