Adult Education Substitute Teacher ( Hourly/Part Time/Temporary)

About the role

Work with adult students as a substitute teacher in our ESL, GED/High School Diploma and CTE programs. Choose your classes and times to fill in for daytime, evening or long term. Our class sizes are small and we have department lead teachers to support you.

Classes Offered

• GED Test Preparation with classes in Math/Science and Language Arts/Social Science
• High School Diploma Program
• English as a Second Language (ESL)
• Career Technical Education (CTE)

Requirements / Qualifications

• California teaching credential or substitute teaching permit is required.
• Any of the following credentials are required for this position: 30‑Day Substitute Teaching Permit or any CA clear teaching credential including Adult Ed Designated Subjects.
• All applicants MUST have fingerprint clearance through our district (WCCUSD) before being hired.
• Transcripts MUST be OFFICIAL (signed, sealed, and in an unopened envelope). Copies will not be accepted.
