About the role
The Adult Day Program Personal Care Aide is responsible for providing care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Care for participants during scheduled activities and meals
- Assist with personal hygiene needs
- Monitor and record participant’s health and safety
- Engage participants in social and recreational activities
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with participants and staff
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pass a background check
