About the role

The Adult Day Hab Professional provides comprehensive care and support services to adults with developmental disabilities, focusing on enhancing their social, recreational, and educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily activities that promote social interaction and personal growth.
• Assist participants with daily living skills and provide supervision during group activities.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Document participant progress and communicate with families and caregivers as needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and best practices in care delivery.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and manage stress effectively.

Pay

$18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
