Minimum Qualifications

• Three (3) years of work experience in the technical skills, trade, or vocation to be taught.
• At least one (1) of the three (3) years of required experience must be within the last five (5) years, or two (2) years within the last ten (10) years.
• Experience working at a clinical/laboratory facility is preferred.

Required Credentials and Certifications

• Possession or ability to obtain prior to employment a Career Technical Education (CTE) Teaching Credential in Health Science and Medical Technology.
• EL Certification or equivalent (e.g., CLAD, BCLAD, SDAIE).
• Current RN or LVN licensure.
• CPR Certification through Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Heart Association (AHA).
