Adult Co-Occurring PHP Therapist

About the role

A full-time Adult Co-Occurring PHP Therapist position is available at High Focus Centers in Paoli, PA. This role provides therapy to adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups for adults in a co-occurring PHP setting.
• Provide individual and family therapy as clinically appropriate.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and relapse prevention strategies.
• Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and coordinate discharge planning.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning when needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Coordinate care with referral sources, outpatient providers, and community supports to promote continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required.
• Pennsylvania LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent license preferred.
• Licensure-eligible clinicians working toward independent licensure are encouraged to apply.
• Experience providing therapy in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• Experience treating adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders is highly desirable.
• Strong group facilitation, assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches for mental health and substance use disorders.

Pay

$53,000 – $56,000 annually, based on experience and credentials.

Schedule

Full-Time: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
