Adult Caregiver for Individual with Down Syndrome

About the role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to join a team providing care for our 33-year-old daughter in Milwaukee, WI. Our daughter, who has Down syndrome and is recovering from a stroke, is mobile with walking aids and enjoys a quiet, easy-going lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance
• Companion care such as playing games
• Occasional driving to social activities
• Laundry
• Simple meal preparation
• Housekeeping tasks like vacuuming and dusting

Qualifications

• Caring and reliable
• Willing to be paid through the IRIS long-term care program, supplemented with private pay

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
• Wednesday: 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM
• Two Fridays a month: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
• Two Saturdays a month: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
