Adult Behavioral Health Clinician (4019)

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, family, and group counseling to adults and families
• Performs clinical assessments, intakes, and develops treatment plans
• Effectively interfaces with courts and social services
• Provides community education, consultation, and emergency services

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work that includes coursework for licensure by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia
• Successful completion of the graduate-level coursework required from the licensing board to begin licensure supervision/residency must be documented on the graduate degree transcript and provided upon request
• Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request
• Agency maintains a drug-free workplace

Pay

Annual salary range: $48,028 – $83,222

• $8,000 sign-on bonus
• 20% increase for licensure
• 10% increase for resident/supervisee
