ADON assistant director of nursing/ Ip nurse

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented ADON Assistant Director of Nursing/IP Nurse to lead our nursing team in providing high-quality, individualized care to our residents. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the nursing team in providing compassionate and patient-centered care, ensuring that residents receive individualized attention and personalized care plans
• Oversee nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care
• Develop and implement policies and procedures, in collaboration with the Director of Nursing, to promote quality care and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care planning and execution
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including resident assessments, care plans, and medication administration records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing change to enhance resident outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or related field)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania
• MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION CERTIFICATION (MAC) and IMMUNIZATION ADMINISTRATION CERTIFICATION (IAC)
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
