Adolescent Mental Health Nurse - RN - PRN

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse at Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care, working collaboratively with medical providers and other members of the care team.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

What You Will Do in This Role

Achieves patient care by assessing patient condition during admission and each shift, performing procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner, responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating and resolving patient needs proactively, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan, and serving as the interface between healthcare providers and community support systems who coordinate ongoing care needs for specialized patient groups.
