About the role
The UI Developer / Analytics Engineer supports web and application analytics across high-traffic eCommerce platforms, focusing on KTLO work including Adobe Analytics report support, troubleshooting, and translating analytics issues into business insights.
Responsibilities
- Support Adobe Analytics reporting and report-building needs, including debugging report issues.
- Translate Adobe Analytics and reporting issues into business-friendly explanations.
- Provide KTLO support for analytics and front-end reporting workflows.
- Work with JavaScript, JavaScript libraries, and API calls to troubleshoot analytics implementation and data flow issues.
- Support Adobe Experience Platform-related work where needed.
- Partner with product and analytics stakeholders to define tracking requirements and validate data accuracy.
- Investigate analytics pipeline issues to identify and help resolve root causes.
- Support QA-to-production deployment activities for analytics tracking updates.
- Build, maintain, or troubleshoot React/Next.js front-end components.
- Integrate and troubleshoot APIs used to support web application data flows.
- Maintain internal documentation for analytics datasets and workflows.
Requirements
- Strong JavaScript experience, including modern JavaScript libraries and front-end development fundamentals.
- Hands-on React experience, including React Hooks, React/Redux, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, including report debugging or analytics implementation support.
- Ability to support report building and translate technical analytics issues for business stakeholders.
- Experience working with APIs, including REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with web and app analytics across web, iOS, and Android environments.
- Experience supporting KTLO or production support workflows.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Next.js, React 18, TypeScript, Redux Saga, React Query, or Nx monorepo experience.
- ClickStream pipeline exposure, including event data validation or ingestion troubleshooting.
- BigQuery or reporting dataset experience, particularly in an eCommerce environment.
- Experience with tools such as OpenObserve, OpenTelemetry, Lighthouse, sitespeed.io, Jest, or TestCafe.
- Experience supporting large-scale retail or eCommerce reporting for features like cart, checkout, or conversion funnels.
