Responsibilities

  • Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support application software that is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with customers, business analysts, technology, and project teams to understand business requirements, drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with business and technology strategies, and comply with the organization's architectural standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to the development team through the full software life cycle.
  • Pick up new technologies independently while actively collaborating with peers on solutioning and providing constructive feedback.
  • Leverage strong attention to detail to minimize the need for corrections and proactively address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Bring fresh and original ideas to improve the team’s technical processes.
  • Write clean code and provide constructive feedback on team members’ code when required.
  • Actively contribute to the full development life cycle and assist colleagues as needed.
  • Clearly communicate complex concepts to both non-technical and technical partners.
  • Understand the importance of documentation and engage in its creation and maintenance.
  • Provide deep expertise in FinTech analytics tools and personalization technologies, including CJA, AEP, Target, AJO, and RT/CDP.
  • Develop applications targeting a major cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • Work with digital analytics and tag management tools (e.g., Adobe Experience Platform Launch, Google Tag Manager, Tealium).
  • Implement and configure user journeys, A/B tests, and communicate successful launches to stakeholders using tools like Adobe Target and AJO.
  • Integrate personalization platforms with key FinTech systems such as Bloomreach (CMS), Workfront, and others.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and integrate platforms to seamlessly exchange data or functionality.
  • Gather data with client-side approaches to better understand customers, improve user experiences, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Utilize server-side approaches for APIs, SDKs, and event forwarding to ensure reliable and efficient data handling.
  • Apply agile process best practices to manage all assigned projects.
  • Use Git or other Version Control Systems (VCS) for committing changes, branching, and merging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7+ years of experience using JavaScript and Python.
  • 4-6 years of experience in developing applications targeting a major cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • Strong experience in digital analytics and experience working with a tag management tool (e.g., Adobe Experience Platform Launch, Google Tag Manager, Tealium).
  • Good experience in personalization and campaign management, including implementing and configuring user journeys, A/B tests, and communicating successful launches to stakeholders using tools like Adobe Target and AJO.
  • Direct experience integrating personalization platforms with key FinTech systems such as Bloomreach (CMS), Workfront, and others.
  • Robust knowledge of gathering data with client-side approaches and utilizing server-side approaches for APIs, SDKs, and event forwarding.
  • Familiarity with the agile process and effectively applying best practices.
  • Fundamental understanding of Git or other Version Control Systems (VCS).
  • Proven ability to write quality code by following best practices and guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrable experience working on a geographically dispersed team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Awareness of industry norms, privacy guidelines, risk mitigation controls, and information security standards.
  • Experience with setting up initial infrastructure and establishing best practices for ongoing maintenance to ensure reliability and security.
  • Utilize personal creativity and innovation to identify opportunities and solve problems effectively.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.

Schedule

Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Pay

The estimated base salary for this role is $114,500 - $157,400 a year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
