Admixture Technician

Responsibilities

• Mix and provide sterile IV infusion treatments for patients in the outpatient infusion clinic.
• Work independently while receiving guidance from chemotherapy nurses and pharmacists.
• Adapt to new workflows and navigate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Ensure compliance with USP 800 standards and maintain proper control documents.
• Log and date inventory, and manage drug supplies to ensure adequate stock.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certification and/or State Pharmacy Board licensure.
• At least one year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and full range of motion.
• Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
• Standing and walking for extended periods, with lifting limited to 40 pounds or less.
