Admissions Team Member – Part-time

Summary of Responsibilities

Warmly welcome guests at ticket windows and entrance scanning stations, creating a positive first impression.
Assist guests in selecting appropriate admission and membership options based on their needs.
Accurately process ticket transactions using the Gateway Ticketing System.
Verify, scan, and validate a variety of ticket and membership types efficiently.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all programs, offerings, and facility information to support guest inquiries.
Respond to questions with helpful information and personalized recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
Ensure a clean, organized, and professional workstation at all times.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Educational/Experience: High School Student, High School diploma or GED equivalent
  P.O.S./Cashiering Experience
  Prior Customer Service Experience
• Skills/Abilities: Friendly, personable, and confident engaging with guests;
  Consistently demonstrates strong customer service and guest relations skills.
  Reliable and dependable, with a strong commitment to punctuality and scheduled shifts.
  Team-oriented and collaborative, with a willingness to support colleagues and assist wherever needed.
  Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
  Capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  Comfortable operating basic equipment, including small power and hand tools as needed.
  Demonstrates strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities under pressure.

Working Conditions

• Job Conditions/Work Location: Working onboard a former Navy Aircraft Carrier in all weather conditions, indoor and outdoor.
  Physical Requirements: Sitting and standing for long periods of time.
  Bend, stoop, and lift to move and retrieve materials.
• Equipment Operated: Computer, printers, fax machine, telephone, handheld radio, copier, and scanner.
