Admissions Representative
Responsibilities
- Works in a dynamic team environment to facilitate student enrollment for Rasmussen University.
- Delivers attentive, timely and effective service to students throughout the admissions process.
- Builds strong relationships with prospective students through extensive outreach, including, but not limited to calls, emails, click-to-chats, text messages, as well as in-person meetings.
- Engages with the student to understand and identify the educational need of the student.
- Provides accurate and timely information on Rasmussen’s programs and services and guides the student through each enrollment step effectively and efficiently.
- Serves as the prospective student’s primary contact, serving as liaison to each department within Rasmussen University, including Student Services, Financial Aid and Career Services.
- Demonstrates a commitment to the University’s mission, vision, and values in their daily activities as well as support an environment of understanding, acceptance and respect for diversity.
Requirements
- Average of one year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in an educational service, admissions counseling, customer service, and/or employee recruitment environment.
- General knowledge of the higher education industry preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as the University and student needs dictate including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent written communication and strong verbal communication skills.
- Proven customer service experience in a professional environment.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, management, and peers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- A professional appearance and telephone manner are essential.

Our defined compensation structure is market competitive and is built to reward performance. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $45,900.00 to $59,700.00. We take a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including but not limited to: job and level hired into, location, skill set; experience and training; peer compensation and other business and organizational needs. This range is subject to change. Pay is just one component of our total rewards package.
