About the role
The Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM), established in 1969, is a premier institution dedicated to advancing the field of aviation maintenance through exceptional education and training. With 15 campuses nationwide, AIM is a cornerstone in the aviation industry, accounting for 20% of all students attending FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) schools across the country. Each year, AIM proudly contributes to the graduation of nearly one in four certified aircraft technicians in America.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate prospective students for enrollment eligibility and program fit
- Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, and in-person or virtual meetings to support applicants through each step of the admissions process
- Achieve and maintain enrollment goals by leading through personal performance
- Guide students from initial inquiry to enrollment, including appointment setting, interviews, application assistance, and follow-up
- Track student application status and ensure completion of required documentation
- Assist with recruitment events such as open houses and career fairs
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, Associates' or higher degree preferred
- Experience: Proven experience in sales or customer service, with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs such as conversion rates, outreach goals, and closing ratios, One or more years of admissions experience in a proprietary (for profit), post-secondary educational setting preferred
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, willing to learn new systems
- A positive, team-oriented approach and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
