Founded in 1985, BHCHP serves over 10,000 individuals annually across more than 30 locations, focusing on comprehensive care from preventive dental care to cancer treatment. Responsibilities

• Screen and assess referrals for admission to the Respite Program
• Coordinate admissions with appropriate administrative and clinical staff
• Greet patients, conduct brief histories and physical assessments, and document encounters in the medical record
• Enter patient information into the computer system
• Provide patient orientation and transportation
• Solve problems with the Admissions RN manager regarding patients who do not meet admission criteria

Qualifications

• Commonwealth of Massachusetts RN license, with minimum of 3-5 years nursing experience preferred
• Previous hospital experience preferred
• CPR Certification required
• Proficiency in Spanish language
• Demonstrated interest in working with an underserved population
• Effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and ability to interact with staff and patients
