Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full admissions process in a high-volume setting.
• Respond promptly to inquiries, screen potential residents against admission criteria, and ensure all necessary paperwork (applications, contracts, insurance details) is completed accurately.
• Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with local hospitals, physicians, social workers, and other community referral sources to ensure a steady stream of new resident inquiries.
• Represent the facility professionally at marketing events, networking opportunities, and tours to promote the facility’s specialized programs and services.
• Work closely with facility department heads to ensure a smooth and successful transition for new residents, including coordinating room readiness and clinical hand-offs.
• Prepare and analyze weekly reports on admissions and referrals to track progress toward census goals and identify market trends.

Qualifications And Skills

• Have an LPN or RN
• Passion for Service: A sincere heart for senior care and a desire to work closely with the elderly and their families.
• Admissions Expertise: Strong knowledge of healthcare admissions processes, including screening, documentation, and insurance verification.
• High Energy: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple daily admissions.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to build trust quickly with internal staff and external stakeholders.
