Admissions Counselor (Undergrad)

About the role

We’re looking for a full-stack Software Engineer to join our small, distributed team. You’ll work directly with the CTO and product leads to design, implement, and deploy features that power our SaaS analytics product. This is a high-impact role with ownership from day one.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and ship new user-facing features in React and TypeScript.
• Maintain and optimize our backend services written in Go and Python.
• Collaborate on database schema design and query optimization (PostgreSQL).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
• Help define technical roadmap and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Experience with backend development in Go or Python.
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Comfort working in a distributed, async-first environment.
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership.

Pay

$140,000 – $180,000 base salary, plus equity (RSUs).
