Admissions Counselor

Description

The Carroll College invites applications for the position of Admission Counselor, a key role in supporting and advancing undergraduate recruitment efforts. This position is instrumental in identifying, engaging, and enrolling prospective students while promoting the mission and values of Carroll College.

Responsibilities

• Traveling for high school visits, college fairs, and outreach events
• Conducting interviews with prospective students
• Providing timely follow-up and support throughout the admission process
• Evaluating academic transcripts to determine eligibility for admission
• Maintaining consistent communication with applicants and their families
• Working closely with Enrollment Management to develop strategic communication plans
• Building relationships with key influencers such as high school counselors, community partners, and alumni

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• One year of clerical or office experience
• Prior experience in admission, orientation, student affairs, public relations, or sales preferred
