Duties and Responsibilities
- Positively and effectively represent Beloit College to prospective students, parents, high school counselors, college bound organizations, alumni, and the general public.
- Actively recruit prospective students (and parents) at college fairs and high school visits in assigned geographic territory.
- Manage assigned territory by scheduling and visiting secondary schools, attend college days/nights, college fairs, and community colleges in assigned territory.
- Conduct and manage outreach (email, phone, text, virtual meetings, etc) to multiple recruiting classes on an ongoing basis.
- Read, process, and evaluate applications from assigned territory.
- Maintain and update prospective student records in Slate (CRM).
- Build relationships with students in assigned territory to encourage movement through the student enrollment process.
- Aid with special projects such as events, daily visits, and the student ambassador program.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to be articulate, and speak persuasively in public.
- Ability to meet and establish rapport quickly with a widely diverse population.
- Ability to work under deadlines and without supervision.
- Capacity to learn and effectively convey Beloit's curriculum and culture.
- Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to think critically, effectively prioritize, plan, and organize multiple tasks and projects and meet set deadlines without immediate and constant supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing activities, expectations, and responsibilities.
- Knowledge of customer service standards and the ability to communicate effectively with faculty, administrators, staff, students, families of students, prospective students and their families and the general public.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and to safeguard the confidentiality of records.
- Willingness to identify opportunities for improvement and propose solutions that enhance office operations.
- Comfort and ability to work in a digital environment using a CRM, Google Suite, and manage data.
- Strong organizational skills.

Other Requirements
- Must be able to travel extensively, work autonomously, and work extended hours frequently including some weekends.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Must be able to push, pull, move, or lift to 35 lbs.
