About the role
Lycoming College is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and experienced individual to join our team. This position is a full-time position that requires travel, a valid driver’s license, and includes a flexible schedule that will include days, evenings, and some weekends. The title of the position will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience level.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the creation and execution of a regional territory recruitment plan for each semester.
- Represent Lycoming College by initiating contact and developing relationships with students, parents, counselors, teachers, and other external constituents.
- Assist with all campus-based recruitment events including open house programs and visitation days.
- Communicate specifics about the academic, recreational, social, extracurricular and co-curricular activities, and financial aid programs to prospective students.
- Review admissions applications and evaluate credentials.
- Complete routine reports related to recruitment, projections, conversions, scheduling, travel programs, and expense reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Recruitment, management, sales, and/or knowledge of higher education are required.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the ability to persuasively articulate the college’s mission, programs, and impact to diverse audiences.
- Well-developed presentation skills are required.
- Valid US Driver’s license with ability to pass the College’s insurance requirements through a motor vehicle record check required.
- Master’s degree and/or minimum of 2 years’ admissions experience or higher education experience preferred.
- The ability to manage student files and communications within Technolutions Slate CRM is preferred.
- Bi-or multi-linguistic ability preferred.
