About the role

The Admissions Consultant will assist in converting enrollment inquiries to qualified applicants at Regent University. This position is a sales-driven role in a blended inbound and outbound call center.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Regent University as a general recruiter for all undergraduate and graduate school programs.
  • Advise prospective students on program fit and admissions requirements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge on all student-related resources, including admissions processes, financial aid, costs, transfer guidelines, licensure guidelines, military benefits, and other pertinent information.
  • Maintain a high volume of outbound phone calls, receive inbound calls, and maintain comprehensive, confidential student records through the correct use of technology.
  • Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each term as determined by Enrollment Management leadership while adhering to dynamic, internal work processes.
  • Cook up and participate in admissions and recruitment events.
  • Aid in onboarding and training of new staff members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years customer service, sales and/or telemarketing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, and weekends including rotating Saturdays and second shift (12pm-9pm).
  • Reliable transportation to travel to and from work in a timely manner.
  • Competence and ability to be trained in technology including Customer Relation Management (CRM) systems, Microsoft Suite and phone systems, and the ability to multi-task within these systems, including a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.

Pay

$40,000 annually

Schedule

Flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, and weekends including rotating Saturdays and second shift (12pm-9pm)
