As an Admissions Associate, you will serve as the primary contact for families evaluating where to begin their child's education. Each email you compose, event you plan, and discussion you facilitate will directly influence whether a family selects Alpha. This position is built for someone who prioritizes accuracy, prompt communication, and authentic relationship-building, recognizing that trust is earned through careful and consistent execution. In this capacity, you will oversee the entire prospective family experience beginning with their initial contact. You will reply quickly and with care, coordinate campus visits and shadow experiences, ensure applicant information remains current and precise, and help parents understand Alpha's approach and whether it matches their expectations. This is a highly visible, interpersonal role in which you directly affect enrollment outcomes. This is an on-site, dynamic role based in Palo Alto, CA and Piedmont (East Bay), CA, suited for someone capable of juggling competing priorities with precision and attentiveness. What You Will Be Doing Replying to prospective family inquiries within 24 hours with communication that is clear, professional, and consistent with Alpha's standardsOrganizing and delivering admissions events, campus tours, and student shadow visits, managing everything from logistics to follow-up outreachEnsuring applicant records remain thorough and accurate across CRM systems and admissions platformsConducting meetings with families to describe Alpha's educational model, respond to their questions, and document key informationWorking alongside campus staff and admissions team members to maintain an efficient and cohesive admissions process What You Won’t Be Doing Rendering final admissions decisions or shaping enrollment policyDelivering instruction or managing academic curriculumRelying on aggressive sales methods or scripted messagingWorking in a disorganized or slow-paced setting Admissions Associate Key Responsibilities Create a seamless, high-conversion admissions journey that converts early interest into committed enrollment, ensuring families feel well-informed, valued, and enthusiastic about becoming part of Alpha. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
